Dr Fatmira Pojani, fondly known as Dr Mira, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Australian Skin Face Body’s skin cancer team.
Dr Mira began her medical journey as a nurse in her home country of Albania in 1983. Her passion for healthcare led her to further her education, returning to university to study medicine and graduating in 1990. She later obtained a postgraduate qualification in respiratory medicine in Budapest and worked as a Specialist Respiratory Physician in Albania.
In 1998, Dr Mira and her husband emigrated to Australia, where she gained invaluable experience working in several hospitals across Melbourne and then tranisitioned into General Practice.
Over the years, she has developed a particular interest in skin cancer detection and diagnosis, becoming highly skilled in this field.
Dr Mira is accepting skin check appointments at our Geelong clinic, where she provides comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.
